A good arrow puzzle hint should restart your reasoning, not replace it. Before using a booster, decide whether you have a strategy problem, a visibility problem, or one unusually disruptive blocker.

Try this hint-free rescan first

  1. Zoom out and sweep every edge clockwise.
  2. Check short lanes from the arrowhead to the edge.
  3. Choose a blocked central arrow and trace its first blocker.
  4. Inspect a different board zone than the one holding your attention.

If two careful scans still reveal no verified exit, assistance can protect hearts and keep the level moving.

Use a hint to find a valid next move

The hint booster is best when the question is “Which arrow can safely leave now?” Once it identifies a move, trace that lane yourself before tapping. Then study what the move unlocks so the hint becomes a lesson about the board.

Use an eraser for a known blocker

An eraser is appropriate when you already understand the dependency chain and one arrow is holding a valuable cluster closed. Remove that piece, then discard the old plan and rescan the changed layout.

Use the grid guide for alignment

Dense, colorful boards can make it difficult to tell whether two lines share a lane. A grid guide addresses that visual uncertainty. It does not choose the strategy; it makes your own route tracing more accurate.

Remember pinch-to-zoom

Zoom is not a consumable booster, so use it early on large boards. Follow the arrowhead forward at a comfortable scale, then zoom back out before tapping to confirm there is no distant blocker.

Choose by question

No valid move visible? Hint. One known blocker? Eraser. Lines hard to align? Grid guide. Details too small? Pinch to zoom.

Hints and clean solves

Using help can be more intentional than spending hearts on guesses. If you care about a clean solve, pause after the first uncertain scan and choose the least invasive tool that resolves the uncertainty.
